One year when I was going through a particular rough time my sister gave me a journal. It was the best thing to help me through since I could get my feelings out.

  3. Happy birthday! I remember when my friend got me tickets to see U2. It was a great concert, and so much fun to go with her.

My most meaningful birthday ever is the year I turned 17. We were very poor at the time and I didn’t expect anything, but when I came home from school my mom had decorated the yard and house with streamers and balloons. She had baked a cake and somehow managed to get me two stuffed dogs and my favorite magazine. I know she must have been plotting and planning for awhile, not to mention all the work she did that day decorating and I will never forget it.

My most meaningful birthday gift was when my three young daughters put together all their money to buy me a pretty purple jewelry box thanks

  7. It’s not really a present, but every year since the first one I had while we were dating and no matter how far apart we may be, my husband wakes me up at midnight to wish me a happy birthday. He’s gotten me some wonderful gifts, but I absolutely adore that he does this and he never forgets. πŸ™‚

  8. My most meaningful bday was when my dad prepared my favorite meal -hotdogs and homemade chili for my 15th bday.

  9. Ana Norte

The most meaningful birthday gift was a diary in my sweet 16!

Happy Birthday!!!! Thank you for offering us a gift on your birthday :). Thanks for this amazing giveaway – I would love to win! One of my most memorable birthdays was when my boss let me leave for the day at lunch time and my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Toronto (I lived in upstate NY at the time) to see The Phantom of the Opera and to stay overnight! Very romantic!

My most meaningful b’day gift was the year my honey had lights installed directly over where I sit to read in our hot tub. No romantic I know, but so sweet. I would have to try to position my body just so to get the right light while soaking and it was a pain. One year I came home to find brand spanking new lights pointed right at my spot. How sweet.

  17. Best wishes. My birthday was a week ago today. My most meaningful birthday which was memorable was when my husband surprised me with the gift of seeing a live performance of Andre Rieu which was fantastic and wonderful.

  18. My favorite birthday gifts are always experiences! Like the time I was surprised by a bbq dinner in an empty restaurant after hours.

  19. The most memorable present I ever got was a beautiful fruit bascket. I wanted one so bad and my parents really made my dream come true.

  20. The most meaningful gifts are thoughtful ones that say the most about the giver & receiver, both, I think… my Honey won “the very most” when he researched e-readers and picked one out for me. He shakes his head over me reading all the time, since he likes tinkering with Chevy’s more, & I smile happier every time I pick up his super-thoughtful gift just for me.

Happy Birthday to YOU!! And thx for sharing your birthday with us!!

  21. My most memorable birthday was when my brother who had been over in Afghanistan sent me a digital camera that I really wanted and I didn’t even know he had gotten it, it was such a surprise.

  22. Oddly enough, my birthday has never been a boon for gifts. I do recall when I was a little kid though, I was one action figure away from completing my coveted Voltron collection–I’d scored big time by getting four of the five figures. I opened a present and my eyes lit up when I saw the fifth and final one.

Regardless of gifts, I hope you have a very happy birthday.

  23. The most meaningful and memorable gift I recieved was when I was around 4 I recieved a blue heart watch from my father. It was a souvenir from his trip to Hong Kong. I had actually found in the the depths of his closet before he gave it to me. It was the last “present” I recieved from him that I didn’t ask for. Not that he died or anything, but after that all I kept getting year after year was money (though it is understandable since his taste in pretty much anything is borderline hideous).

  24. Carrie Smart

The most meaningful gift I have ever received is on my 30 birthday I got a nice new suede chair…it was so expensive

    csmart218(at)yahoo(dot)com

    Thanks!

  26. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! One of the greatest birthday gifts I received was breakfast in bed from hubby on my 30th bday.

  27. That is a hard question. I would have to say my mother’s ring even though I can no longer wear it because of the paralysis in my right hand and the cramping in my left. It is in a nice clear keepsake box where I can see it every day.

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

  28. Happy Birthday!!! Thanks for the giveaway!
One year when I was younger my father knew in school all the girls got flowers and stuff sent to their classroom, and I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to be one of them on my birthday. But he surprised me with one of the prettiest bouquets and made my day:)

  33. Debra Guillen

The most memorable birthday present I ever received was my son being born on my birthday.

    • Ooops… As to my favorite birthday present, I would have to say it was the copy of Les Miserables that my dad bought for me when I was in middle school. He was working out of town at the time, so when he came back with that gift, it meant so much!

  34. When I was a little girl, we didn’t have a whole lot. By today’s standards we would definitely have been considered “poor”. But, I had a special aunt who had a little more money than most who always seemed to buy the perfect presents. I was probably about 10 or 11 when she bought me a copy of “Anne of Green Gables” by L.M. Montgomery. She fostered my love of reading many times after that over the years and to say that it changed my life is an understatement!!

  35. Stacy Taylor

My most memorable birthday present was the year my husband got us a room in an awesome hotel and took me on a shopping spree. He had gotten a bonus at work and spent every penny of it on me!

Thanks for the giveaway and happy holidays!

  43. The most memorable gift that I was ever given was when my husband surprised me and flew my best friend in to visit me.

  44. The most memorable birthday present was my room, lol. I have a sister who is a few years younger than me, and we always shared a room but on my birthday (I’m not sure what year it was) when I came home from school, I finally got my own room! It was pink with kitten posters on the walls, and had bookshelves full of books.

  45. teressa oliver

A tiffany & co. necklace my mom got me for my 18th birthday.

  49. Heather Avery

Pretty sure the most meaningful and memorable birthday gift I ever received was when I turned 14. My dad surprised me with a room of my own he built in the attic while I was away at camp! With my parents and 11 siblings, I ended up the only one to ever have my OWN room. Nobody else wanted the attic, but they didn’t realize how cool it was going to be once the room was finished! My dad worked his butt off to have it done by my bday and that meant the world to me!

  50. Carol Wong

When I was a toddler I had my favorite toy in the world – my little baby. She had a pull string and wore this turqouise outfit. When I was 3 she was lost and I was devastated. Years later when I was about 10 or 11, my mom found another one in the store and for nostalgia reasons bought it for me. It meant so much to me because I still remember being so upset at losing my baby.

  52. Lisa Fisher Walker

We moved to Utah 8 years ago and I never get to see my parents or my two sisters and their families. For my birthday this past November, my husband arranged for them all to be here for my birthday! I had no idea! It was a wonderful surprise.

  53. Tiffany P

I would have to say that the most memorable birthday gift was a barbie camera that my grandmother gave me when i was 6. That gift really started my love for photography.

  54. mamabunny13

When my daughter was about 10 or 11 she handed me a note with a rhyming clue on it, when I figured out the clue it lead me to the next clue etc. etc. until I got to the gift, which was a homemade coupon booklet with IOU’s for various chore. I had so much fun looking for those clues…but don’t ask how many coupons I got to redeem! lol

  58. Hmm…well, truth is I haven’t celebrated my birthday in a loooong time. I believe the last time was when I was 12 or 13. However, back in 2004, my best friend and I saved up enough money to go on a week long vacation to Cancun, Mexico. And the trip happened to take place during my birthday. We had a ridiculously fun & memorable time.

My birthdays are usually memorable because my mom and I share a birthday. So that in itself makes my birthday special for me, as we’re always together that day. One particular year was extra special though. I had always wanted to attend one of those murder mystery dinner theaters. So for my birthday, my parents took me to a train station to attend one. It started at the station with the actors, and continued onto the train which we rode a ways, and watched the rest of the play unfold while we were served dinner. And of course at the end of the play you had to guess who commited the crime. It was a very memomarble and unique experience. One of the best birthday gifts I’ve received. 114. I would have to say that the most cherished present that I received on my birthday would have to be my daughter. Her and I share the same birthday. Her birth was not an easy one, as she was only 3lb and very premature. But I just can’t see any present I have received past or present that could top that. She is my miracle. I want to also thank you for choosing this topic for your comment section, I think I needed a reminder of how truly blessed I am to have her, she is 10 now and tends to make one forget that very important fact. It would have to be my engagement ring on my 21st birthday!

  143. Shannon Gallagher

The best thing I ever got for my birthday was a “MOM” ring. My mother got it for me from my baby girl, many years ago. I wore it everyday, all the time until recently the band wore so thin in a spot that the gold (metal) just broke. I want to get it fixed one day to wear it again.

  144. Happy Birthday!!

I think the most memorable birthday present was the birthday I was able to be in London with some friends – I was able to see a friend of mine who passed away not long after. It was great to see spend time with everyone!

Thanks for the giveaway! Happy birthday! My birthday is in a couple of days. I really don’t remember having a birthday gift that stood out from the rest. Because my birthday is so close to Christmas, most people would give me Christmas gifts that were for my birthday too. The only thing special that I remember, was one year, when I was 6, my mom made me a snowman cake. πŸ™‚

  156. Krysta Banco

Right before my grandmother passed she gave me a teardrop tiger’s eye necklace for my birthday and I always wear it.

  157. I think it would be my black Michael Kors purse. It was the last gift my mother gave me (she died in January right after Christmas) and I love that purse.

  158. Definitely my very first Coach purse I ever got! Hope you have a wonderful birthday!

  159. My brother gave me a beautiful silver locket several years ago. I wear it when I am in fearful or stressful situations and it helps to calm my anxiety.

  160. My birthday is ten days after Christmas, so usually my Christmas presents are combined with my birthday presents. But as I’ve gotten older and presents became less important, my husband and I started taking long weekend for my birthday. Every time we go away it’s nice because we get some time alone and we always do what I want to do. My most memorable birthday trip was a few years ago when we went to one of my favorite cities, St Augustine (FL). I love walking around the old streets, visiting the historic sites, and taking the winery tour (with tastings of course). That’s actually where I’ve asked to go for my birthday next year.

  161. Nicole Sender

This year my nieces had a shirt made for me that says Favorite Aunt on it. It means so much to much me because everyone always called my mom their favorite aunt, so to have my nieces feel the same way means so much.

Tickets to my first basketball game, it was the Knocks vs the Pistons and my brother took me. It was the only time we ever really did anything like that together.
