  2. Thank you for hosting a giveaway! I’m a whimp so I’ve not read much that is scary. The last thing I remember freaking me out a little was a stalker book I can’t remember the name of.

  3. False Memory by Dean Koontz was pretty scary!

  4. Hooray! This is the most fun at holidays! I love new books! Thanks for the chance!

  5. Sophia Rose

Thanks for participating in the hop and the giveaway opportunity.

I am not into scary stories, but the scariest I read was ‘The Historian’.

I love the halloween wallpaper here.

  6. I don’t really read scary books. Back in the day I thought “Witch” by Christopher Pike was frightening though. I don’t even remember why.

  7. LadyVampire

The scariest book I have read? Hmm Well, I have to admit that “It” by Stephen King was spooky to me. Thanks for the giveaway!

  8. Judy Cox

The Shining just about did me in when the movie came out. The book was scary enough, I should have never watched the movie:)

  9. Salem’s Lot. That book scared me so badly. I read it when I was a freshman in High school and the idea of that book still scares me.

  10. Jennelle S

For me the spookiest book I’ve read is Guilty Pleasures by Laurell k Hamiltion

  11. The scariest book I have ever read is probably Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. I don’t like really scary stories so I avoid them. But those stories used to scare me and my friends when we were younger. 🙂

  12. Andrea Williams

I don’t read a lot of spooky so I guess it would be Monster by Frank Perretti.

  13. Thank you for a genreous giveaway. Don’t Breathe a Word was pretty eerie.

  14. Catherine Lee

I try not to read scary books! I’ve read a few Stephen King books and I thought The Tommyknockers was super scary!

  15. Carolina

It by Stephen King, thanks for the giveaway

I would say the Devouring series by Simon Holt.

    Thanks and Happy Halloween!

I had to sleep with the lights on after having read Forest of Hands and Teeth! Baby.

  19. I once read a book with a number of Stephen King stories in it…. SO scary that I could barely sleep that night!!!

  20. Spookiest I read was Wait Till Helen Comes when I was young.

  21. Hollowland by Amanda Hocking 🙂

  24. Pet Sematary by Stephen King really scared me!

  25. Tara Woods

I would say Salem’s Lot by Stephen King.

  26. I would have to say it had to be something by Stephen King….Most likely It.
Now I just can’t get enough scary books…I love them…the scarier the better!

  27. Pretty much all of the Stephen King books I’ve read have seriously creeped me out, but I would probably have to say that I found his book titled IT to be the creepiest (probably because of the evil clown).

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  28. Juana Esparza

The scariest book that I’ve ever read is The Shining by Stephen King.

  31. I don’t really read scary books. I’m pretty much a weeny. 😕 Thanks for the giveaway!

  32. This year I read Scott Nicholson’s Speed Dating with the Dead, which despite that the title sounds like a fun paranormal romance, this was a very scary read!! It would be a perfect Halloween read too.

  33. I would have to say salem’s lot by stephen king.

  34. The creepiest books, for me, are the old Dean Koontz. His books involve psychopath who play cat-and-mouse psychological mind games, which is far scarier to me than anything paranormal. The older books are better than the newer ones, for the most part.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  35. Isolabella

    IT by Stephen King
    Thanks for the giveaways.

  36. I am going to have to go with Stephen King’s IT too. That taught me at a very early age that clowns are EVIL 😯 I still can’t stand clowns.

  37. Tonya Dean

The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.

  38. Linda Kish

    Silence of the Lambs

Stephen King’s Salems Lot, scared me to death, don’t ask me why I have to idea. By the time I’d read this book I’d all ready read all of H. P. Lovecraft, didn’t bother me. The first thing I read of Stephen King’s was Salem’s Lot and it gave me nightmares, so I’ve never read another one of his books.

  40. Forest of hands and teeth is one of the scariest

    Hope to win!!!

  47. I don’t know that I’ve ever found a book to be truly scary, but had my moments reading Joe Hill’s Heart-Shaped Box. It’s a modern day ghost story and I REALLY enjoyed it.
