Teaser Tuesday: Seven Year Switch

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. Each week participants open to a random page in the book they are currently reading and share two (or three) “teaser” sentences from that page, being careful not to include spoilers, i.e. too much information that would ruin the experience of read­ing the book for others.

“We’re having a welcome home party. I’m going to make the decorations, and Dad’s going to bring the presents. What do you want to do?”

Scream, I thought. While the daughter and the father plan their reunion, what the mother wants to do is scream.
