Alipet813 hosts Show Me 5 Saturday at That’s a Novel Idea. Each week, readers answer five questions, providing the number of answers that correspond to the number of the question. For instance, four answers are required in response to question number four. The questions are:
1. The title of a book read and/or reviewed this week.
2. Words that describe the book.
3. Setting(s)s where it took place or characters.
4. Things you liked and/or disliked about the book.
5. The number of stars given, with five being the highest and one the lowest rating.

1. This week I read:

2. Words that describe Beachcombers: Relatable, compelling.
3. Three main characters in the book: Sisters Abbie, Emma, and Lily.
4. Things you liked and/or disliked about the book:
5. My rating: In honor of the fact that the story is set in Nantucket and seashells play their own part in the story, I am awarding Beachcombers four and one-half seashells!

My full review of Beachcombers will be published on July 7, 2010 when I host Nancy Thayer’s Blog Tour!

Lovely post and thank you for the review. I’m reading ” born to run” and it’s a great read. Something about the way the author writes makes one want to read the book 30 times in a row. hehe.
Thanks again and I will look into Beachcombers for my next read.
