California has been wet, windy, and wild this week. On Monday afternoon, I was driving west on Highway 4 near the Pittsburgh BART station en route to Marin County. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw the most spectacular rainbow I had seen in years. I wanted to stop and take a photograph, but that wasn’t feasible, so I did the next best thing: I held my iPhone up to the passenger-side mirror just to see if I could capture the essence of the rainbow. This is the result:

I am in the UK, the weather here is mostly terrible with lots of rain all year round. Saw the pic, initial reaction was, the picture was somewhere in the UK. Nice rainbow though!

Ahhh, sweet rainbow… It’s only started raining here in Queensland Australia. Aside from the flash floods, it’s green and serene. Can’t wait for the sun to come out and show a few of these again!
