What is your favorite type of art?
I’m not a big art collector, but my favorite types of paintings are of the sea such as this pastel by Karen Margulis:

Soup
When was the last time you got a free lunch (or breakfast or dinner)? Who paid for it?
A couple of weeks ago, we all went out to dinner before my youngest nephew left to begin his studies at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. My sister and brother-in-law bought dinner which was lovely.
Salad
On a scale of 1–10 with 10 being highest, how emotional are you?I can range from 0 to 10+. The answer depends upon a few factors, including but not limited to the topic, person(s) involved or impacted, my physical health and mental outlook on the day in question.

Approximately how long do you spend each day responding to emails?
Depends on the day and what is happening. Professionally, if I’m in the office and there is a lot going on, I might spend up to half the day sending and responding to emails. Today, for instance, I was in a meeting all day and only got a few emails, most of which did not require a response, in some instances because I was merely copied. I receive a lot of e-mail I classify as “informational,” i.e., from various groups or organizations, notifications of decisions issued in pending cases, etc.
On a personal level, it also depends. I get a lot of email to which I do not respond — notification about various events, newsletters, jokes, etc. So I probably only spend 30 minutes or so answering emails.

To what temperature do you usually set your home’s thermostat?
In the summer, I set it at 76. Any lower and the air conditioner will freeze you right out of the house unless it is an extremely hot, i.e., more than 103 degrees, day.
In the winter, it is most often set at about 72.
In the spring and fall, we don’t use the air conditioner or furnace. For instance, right now I have a few windows open because it is about 60 degrees outside and there is a light breeze. It feels really refreshing.
Happy Autumn!

Happy Friday. It is def Autumn here– but of the rainy grey variety, not the nice autumnal breeze type!
That was one good Friday feast. Nice answers.
But we have one thing in common, even I love painting which show sea and water and mountains. I basically love nature, it’s freshness. So, paintings having such natural views are really close to me. I really liked the painting which you have shown in your post.
The art you picked is beautiful!
Loved the seascape. Beautiful. Have a great FF and weekend.
