Appetizer
What is your favorite fruit?
Oh, I can’t pick just one. I love bananas, oranges, peaches, apricots, grapes, plums, watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries . . .
Living here in California, we are blessed with many varieties of fresh fruit all year long. I grew up with peach, orange, lemon and apricot trees in the backyard. Plus, Lodi is wine country so we always enjoy luscious, delicious grapes.
Soup
Who is someone you consider as a great role model?
Sir James Galway. And I am extremely excited because I will be attending one of his Master Classes this weekend in Napa. His lovely wife, Lady Jeanne, will be there as well and I am confident that it will be the thrill of a lifetime.
Salad
If you were to spend one night anywhere within an hour of your home, where would you choose?
A bed and breakfast in the Gold Country.
Main Course
Name something you do too often.
Stay up far later on weeknights than I should. I have trouble going to sleep — and I always want to see what Craig Ferguson has to say. His show comes on at midnight, right after Letterman.
Dessert
Fill in the blank: I really like ___________ because ____________.
I really like BigBob’s new pick-up because I don’t mind having it parked in front of my house, unlike his old one.
I made him park the old one around the corner because I did not want anyone to think that it belonged to someone who lived in this house or knew someone who lived here.
BigBob wanted a silver pick-up. When we were at the dealership, he asked me, “Do you think I should get the silver one? What color do you think I should get?” I just laughed and responded, “Paint. I think you should get a pick-up with paint. Any color of paint.”
The salesman started laughing. He looked at BigBob and said, “Let me guess. Your old pick-up only has primer?” BigBob had to sheepishly admit it. Then the salesman looked at me and I reiterated, “PAINT will be a major improvement.”
Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend!

NO! :-0
I wouldn’t post a picture of that piece o’ junk, even if I had one which I don’t. I never want to be reminded of it.
I will tell you, however, that it was a 1989 Ford with primer, not paint, so that you can attempt to visualize it (shudder). Having looked at it every day for several years, I don’t know why anyone would willingly visualize it!
very nice pick up! you got a great feast going on here…mine’s up!
I forgot all about watermelon!

Great feast today. I just LOVE your soup. I’m a flute player of almost 30 years and understand why you would put that down.
My feast is up…come on over.
