Friday’s Feast #149

I think with my tongue. I don’t even realize I’m doing it, but when I really concentrate or exert, I stick my tongue out. My friends in water aerobics class were laughing at me the other day because I was doing it while pumping weights.

If you could instantly know how to play a musical instrument, which one would you pick?

Violin. The piccolo I ordered will be here any day. Next I’m buying an alto flute, but the instrument I’ve always threatened to learn to play — and will eventually — is the violin.

How long is your hair?

Hehehehehe … I don’t have much left. It’s shorter and spikier than in the photo on the left that was taken backstage at Carnegie Hall on March 28, 2007.

It has been all the way down to my waist — one length and perfectly straight — and as short as it is now . . . and every imaginable length between. I can never make up my mind. But for right now since I spend a lot of time in the pool, I’m liking this really short style. I just put some green goo in it so that it sticks straight up and off I go!

Main Course

When was the last time you forgave someone, and who was it?

Today. I forgave the two guys I wrote about here. Writing is extremely good therapy and makes it a lot easier to forgive and move on.

Dessert

What is your favorite kitchen appliance?

I don’t go in there much, so I guess I would say the dishwasher. I really missed it when it broke down and a part had to be ordered so I had to wash dishes by hand for the first time in … um, what year is this? I don’t remember how long it had been … decades, probably.
