The lobby of the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City.
Here’s another shot so that you can see the chandelier in “context”:

My favorite comment of the day came from autofocused:
“I’m not cleaning that.”
Thanks for making me snort lemonade up my nose
when I read that, Chris!
(That’s what my mother would have said, too,
only she would have put it this way:
“I’m not cleaning all the dinger-dangers on that thing!”)

What a chandelier.
Now that is a room feature that would not fit in my house! wonderful
I am assuming this is in a ballroom — its making me think of dancing.
Fancy-schmancy! And here I am in T-shirt and sweats.
Nice light. Happy Wednesday.
I’m not cleaning that.…
I hafta agree with autofocused!! But, oh what beauty, huh?
Very swish!
Illuminating splendour.
Wow, I’d hate to have to clean that! Beautiful though
I love the chandalier, it is so beautiful.
Swanky! Love it, but where in the old homestead would I hang it??? Have a terrific week, and happy WW!
This could be an upscale dining establishment. Okay, that’s what it’s going to be for me. I want to sit rith underneath the chandalier during dinner. Great shot.
Whoa! Beauty! D
Hmmm, Carnegie Hall by any chance?
Hmm. If only I had something like that in my home.
I’d never have a house that would befit that. In fact, I don’t believe I’ve ever been in a hotel worthy of that.
Wow! And even better in context! Thanks for the visit — I’ve added your link.
Dinger-dangers!! LOL
That is absolutely gorgeous! I want to go to New York! Waah!
We just saw the Cirque Du Soleil performance of Corteo. Now, whenever I see a chandelier, it looks like somethings missing if there aren’t people dancing and dangling perilously from them.
Happy WW!
Just gorgeous! But I agree with the comment about cleaning it!
Wow! I could just see my boys swinging from that!
I was born in NY! The Big Apple does everything bigger and better.
Pearls of wisdom…a heavenly voice.

Gorgeous place
. Happy WW
Thanks for sharing that this week. After watching Serendipity, i have wanted to visit!
If you get bored, check out the Scavenger Hunt over at Amys Random Thoughts! New prizes were added today!
Just beautiful.
Happy WW
Be well and enjoy the day
I’d like to stand inside the thing.
Oh wow…beautiful!
Imagine cleaning it. Putting it all back up and someone comes up to you and says: “Missed a bit.”
I agree with autofocused!! But, then again, I suppose if you can afford a chandelier like that you can also probably afford to pay someone to clean it!
What a beautiful chandelier! It reminds me of the one on Beauty and the Beast!
I love the music! How awesome that you got to play at Carnegie Hall! I play the violin, but haven’t got to play as much as I used to. You are so blessed. I am jealous…my dream is to someday play in an Orchestra. It is just an amazing feeling to be a part of something that makes such beautiful music!
I love chandeliers!
(Probably because I don’t have to clean them!)
=))
The answer to this week’s WW Guess-It is out! Head on down and see if you got it right!
It is beautiful, but I’m not walking under it, seen too many fall — in the movies.
Wow — this is a breath-taking chandelier.
Thank you for sharing.
