The lobby of the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City. Here’s another shot so that you can see the chandelier in “context”: My favorite comment of the day came from autofocused: “I’m not cleaning that.” Thanks for making me snort lemonade up my nose when I read that, Chris! (That’s what my mother would have said, too, only she would have put it this way: “I’m not cleaning all the dinger-dangers on that thing!”)
This could be an upscale dining establishment. Okay, that’s what it’s going to be for me. I want to sit rith underneath the chandalier during dinner. Great shot.
We just saw the Cirque Du Soleil performance of Corteo. Now, whenever I see a chandelier, it looks like somethings missing if there aren’t people dancing and dangling perilously from them.
I agree with autofocused!! But, then again, I suppose if you can afford a chandelier like that you can also probably afford to pay someone to clean it!
What a beautiful chandelier! It reminds me of the one on Beauty and the Beast!
I love the music! How awesome that you got to play at Carnegie Hall! I play the violin, but haven’t got to play as much as I used to. You are so blessed. I am jealous…my dream is to someday play in an Orchestra. It is just an amazing feeling to be a part of something that makes such beautiful music!

17I’d never have a house that would befit that. In fact, I don’t believe I’ve ever been in a hotel worthy of that.
