Can you tell me how to get to Carnegie Hall?

“Sure,” comes the reply in the very old, corny joke. “Prac­tice! Prac­tice! Practice!”

I couldn’t resist. But we have our first rehearsal for Carnegie Hall tonight and I am really excited about that. We will receive our music and play through all of the selec­tions, hope­fully. Then we will be on our own to prac­tice our parts until mid-February when rehearsals begin in earnest.

So now I am off to spend some time doing what I have really been look­ing for­ward to dur­ing this vaca­tion: Prac­tic­ing my flute, of course!
