Can you tell me how to get to Carnegie Hall?

“Sure,” comes the reply in the very old, corny joke. “Practice! Practice! Practice!”

I couldn’t resist. But we have our first rehearsal for Carnegie Hall tonight and I am really excited about that. We will receive our music and play through all of the selections, hopefully. Then we will be on our own to practice our parts until mid-February when rehearsals begin in earnest.

So now I am off to spend some time doing what I have really been looking forward to during this vacation: Practicing my flute, of course!
